Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to Vanishly’s subscription-based privacy assistance, monitoring, education, and case-tracking services.
Effective September 7, 2026Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement. You may submit information about yourself or someone you are legally authorized to represent. You must not impersonate another person, submit a retaliatory request, or use Vanishly to harass, surveil, deceive, or unlawfully suppress truthful information.
What Vanishly provides
Depending on your plan, Vanishly may help identify exposed personal information; coordinate eligible opt-outs, suppression notices, or takedown requests; monitor supported exposure sources; alert you to new findings; provide progress tracking; and offer practical privacy and account-security guidance.
No guaranteed outcome
Vanishly provides assistance, not control over third parties. We cannot guarantee that every source will be found, that any website or broker will accept a request, that information will stay removed, or that private, encrypted, closed, unlawful, or inaccessible databases can be searched or altered. Results and timing depend on third parties, applicable law, verification requirements, and the accuracy of information you provide.
Sensitive content
Do not upload or transmit intimate images to Vanishly. Submit only a URL and description. Vanishly is not an emergency service, law-enforcement agency, law firm, credit bureau, identity-theft insurer, or substitute for a platform’s direct reporting channel. Content involving a person who was under 18 when an image was created must be handled through appropriate child-safety reporting resources.
Subscriptions and billing
Plans renew monthly until canceled. Stripe processes payments and provides billing services. Prices and applicable charges are shown before purchase. You authorize recurring charges for your selected plan. You can cancel through the customer portal; unless stated otherwise at cancellation, access continues through the paid billing period and the subscription does not renew.
Acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, protect your account, and use the service lawfully. You may not interfere with the service, probe or bypass security, automate abusive requests, upload malware, submit illegal material, infringe others’ rights, or resell the service without permission.
Third-party services
Vanishly may interact with Stripe, data brokers, search services, reporting portals, monitoring sources, and other third parties. Their terms, availability, and decisions are outside our control. A link or referral does not imply endorsement.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Privacy monitoring may produce incomplete, delayed, duplicated, or inaccurate findings. You remain responsible for securing accounts, contacting financial institutions or authorities when appropriate, and obtaining legal or professional advice for your circumstances.
Suspension, termination, and changes
We may limit or terminate access for nonpayment, misuse, security risk, unlawful activity, or violation of these Terms. We may change the service or these Terms and will post an updated effective date. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
